This is where the art improves. I draw this comic in a software called “Clip studio paint EX” which is intended for comics, specifically manga. I know this doesn’t look completely like manga, (although it kinda does), but it does use certain manga- inspired tropes in the art. For example, the burst of lines (also called a saturated line) in panel 7 is built in. It’s often used to show surprise*, but I use it to emphasize punches and strikes.
