So it’s the last page of chapter 5! (Celebration noises) I’ve got my work cut out for me next week – fingers crossed it goes well and gets done. A note on Kat’s costume – It’s the attire of the main character from the anime Kill La Kill (I have no idea why it is named that, and I don’t watch it,) and as she looks rather similar to Katrina, I thought it would be a good costume choice. Quick Semi – Important Note: Before you go googling the aforementioned show, I will say that the show can be quite risque, and some costumes show quite a bit of skin. Just a forewarning. The costume Kat is wearing is somewhat modest as far as the show goes. You can see the costume on the original character below.

Anyway, enough of that. A bit of note on the artwork – If you haven’t noticed, Katrina (and Theo) have a new dark skin tone. It’s a reddish shade, and I personally like it.  Also the shadowing on Akila’s… chest area is really, REALLY hard to get right. I must have spent a solid 45 minutes shading the six separate layers. Trust me – it’s harder than it looks. Also, as promised, here are the art highlights from last year. Also I have the auto – posting fixed – but I’m considering moving the publishing time back to 6pm instead of 4pm, just so I can get more done. See you next week!
