SO YEAH THATS A LORE DROP AND A HALF. Obviously, I’m keeping my mouth sealed more than this but… yes there are gods, or more accurately, powerful otherworldly beings, canon to the setting. Originally they didn’t have much of a role in the plot, but over time as the comic evolved, it became, for lack of a better term, weirder, and eventually there was no reason to not have one of them feature, at least in a small way, in the Comic’s plot. And I will note: Yes, in this case, the body paint isn’t just an excuse for me to draw Akila without any clothes on. The lore reasons for it will be revealed soon, but trust me, it takes ages to draw and if I wanted just to have Akila naked for its own sake I’d not make all that extra work for myself.

In other news, and the main reason why this is late- I’ve moved!
And gotten a new computer!

The reason I haven’t had time to draw this, as I got my new computer (a proper desktop this time, not a laptop) on Friday, (and it took all of Saturday to set up), and then drove 6 hours to my new house in North Carolina on Tuesday. It’s going to take some getting used to (going from suburbs to the countryside is a big jump), but I think I can be comfortable here.
