NOW WITH AN ANIMATED VERSION HERE!

This week’s comic is the first to have more than two panels in its animation. (For those of you who can’t see it, look at the lights around the tub in panel 4. Try not to stare.)  I’m shading Theo’s hair again – I think I figured out how to shade it. Also, yes, Akila has tentacles. More information coming next two weeks.

Arguably my favorite part of world – building this universe is creating all the plants and animals. (I’m working on a page for them.) I can be creative and come up with whatever I find cool or interesting, and I can make it part of the story.

One last thing: The comic isn’t always going to be as lighthearted in tone as it is now. Just a warning. I’ll try not to make the change too sudden, but just be forewarned. (There will be blood.) This isn’t uncommon for works – Romeo and Juliet is a romantic comedy for the first two acts. AND THEN PEOPLE START DYING. Also – the shift started three weeks ago.
