So I’m college now. That’s a thing. I’m working on a little side project of the characters (nowhere near the level of my animation, sorry.) I’m trying to get it done, but I don’t really have a bunch of time to work on stuff as of now. (As I said, I’m back in college.) There’s likely going to be two or three more pages in chapter 7, at which point book/part one will be done. I think I’ve said this before. I decided the titles for the chapters in book/part 2, and have started on a basic script. I’ve also been working on developing a written language for Nereids, as they’re smart enough to keep records of stuff that goes on. (Actually, the only real reason they still have a stone – age level of technology is due to the fact they live underwater, which makes everything from electronics to metalworking to even pottery impossible. Speaking of Nereids, I forgot to post this art I drew of Akila a while back. It’s inspired by another piece of art featuring another fish/human girl, but I can’t post that here as I don’t have permission, and as it’s from a game I doubt I could be able to send them mail asking. I know it may seem kinda dumb I’m not posting it anyway, but I like to err on the side of caution when it comes to this stuff.

A few people have asked me why Akila has the weird pointed shoulder things, the answer is I don’t really know. I think I just drew her with them once and they kinda fit her, so I kept her with them. I’m considering explaining magic and how it works in the comic, but since it’s going to be in the start of chapter 8 I’m not sure if I should save it for then. I’m also planning to do a sort of census to see what kinds of people read the comic, so if you all could do that when I make it that would be great. Oh, and one last thing: I got the image of page 6-1 (The big one with all the different characters in cosplay) printed out on metal for my dorm, and it turned out really well. Problem is, I doubt I could sell them, as they cost quite a bit to make and they wouldn’t be worth the money for anyone who buys them – I’d have to charge at least 80$, and I don’t think that’s worth it. Also, on the t-shirts – I’m sorry if any of you guys were set on buying one, it’s hard to find a place you can sell them that doesn’t take 90% of the money you make. If I sold my shirts for 30$ (which is already pretty freaking pricey) I would make 5 dollars, and I don’t want to have to charge massive amounts of money for my stuff. Not that I’m trying to make money here – but there is no way I’d buy a webcomic t-shirt for 30$. So yeah, sorry about that.

I’m hoping there should be a comic out next week, but as my classes start tomorrow I don’t really know my workload.
