Originally, Theo was meant as a sort of 100% average all middle sliders everyman, but I grew away from that concept over time. He’s definitely his own character now, and honestly, I think that is a good thing. His loss of height was an intentional change, mainly to help contrast him with Kat being rather big, as their personalities tend to play off one another –  and that relationship is probably the biggest focus of the upcoming part 3.
