Hey guys! Hope you all are well. As I said before, this chapter’s going to be a slower one, more focused on character development than the conflict in the story. I understand if these chapters aren’t as enjoyable or exciting as the ones that progress the plot, but the comic needs them if the overall story is to be told. If you feel the comic is moving too slowly, I strongly reccomend just leaving it for a few weeks, so you have a larger amount of comic to come back to once you’ve started reading again. There’s nothing wrong with that – it’s actually how I reccomend reading it, and how I read webcomics – but if you prefer checking in weekly there’s nothing wrong with that.

I don’t have tons of news about in-comic stuff, other than that I’ve kinda run out of designs for Dark – Background tank top patterns for Kat to wear, so thats why she’s wearing something more colorful. I don’t know why she owns so many different tank tops but only three pairs of shorts, but it’s fun to figure out what chapter you’re reading based on her outfit. Sadly, I don’t think I have a reason to have her in her dress anymore, but I might draw her in it for fun.

Speaking of side art, I’ve made a reference picture of profile views of my characters. So far I only have the female ones done, but I’ll probably do the major male characters eventually. I don’t draw in profile much, but I thought it would be a smart thing to make, just for myself. You can see it below, and a version with characters with relative heights is at this link. You might notice a few things you didn’t before – Such as Circe’s cape, or Violet’s facial markings ending near her neck.
