So, this week’s page took… a lot longer than I hoped. Busy life things, a struggle to make progress and a weird perfectionism on the art, and my own personal issues with focus contributed. This is not an apology. This is a statement. Y’see, today’s my twenty-fifth birthday. As it stands, I’ve been writing and working on this comic for over a third of my time on this earth. And I will continue to work on it – even if it takes a long time.

I want this comic to be the best it can be, without a potential future regret about feeling like I could have done better – and, simply put, the better something is, the longer it takes me. Chapter 18 has taken two and a half months for four pages, but also… I think art wise, chapter 18 is, overall, some of the best art I’ve ever drawn. Every page that comes out late, comes out late with me being genuinely proud of it.

So this is just me saying, partly for myself, partly for you, in the case you are reading this – I will finish this story. It doesn’t matter if nobody reads it, or if it takes me another decade – only an act of god could stop me at this point. I may run, i may walk, I may even crawl – but by all things – I will keep moving.
