I changed the color of Kat’s top because it was too dark to shade, and therefore looked rather flat. I think the new color is much improved. Also Katrina in the fourth panel is one of my favorite drawings of her, as her proportions look the way I prefer, and her hand actually looks like a hand. Also, just a fun side note: I was going through my old computer files (I had to switch my laptop out AGAIN,) and I found the demo for a game called Aquaria that I must have played for about 15 minutes back in 2012ish. Oddly enough, the main character looks very similar to my old drawings of Akila, and since they’re both some sort of sea spirit, I’m pretty sure my mind drew some inspiration from the game. It’s kinda cool to look at. 

(Honestly, the only reason Akila doesn’t have those spines on the side of her head are because my characters don’t have ears. I remember considering adding them a while back, but I chose not to.) As I may have said, next chapter there is a cosplay scene, and I now know who Akila is going as. I hope I don’t get sued. (Fingers crossed.)
