Chapter 6, Page 3:Fanservice and Fanart
So, here’s this week’s comic. Sorry these pages aren’t the most colorful, but I’m working on it.
Not much I can think to talk about. I’ve decided to move the publishing time of the comic back to 6 pm instead of 4 due to the possibility of me not having enough time to properly complete the page for that week. This will start next week, so just letting you know.
I don’t have much to say story wise (All I can say is stuff is about to kick off), so be prepared for that. I’ve been practicing my movement and drawing positions for the upcoming fight scene. You might remember the robot guy in the last panel from the joke art on page 3 – 9. I’ve refined his looks a bit, making his plating more armor – like, and got rid of the exposed hinges and axles on his legs.
NOTE: THE FOLLOWING BIT MIGHT SPOIL A MINOR SURPRISE IN A FEW PAGES.
IF YOU’D RATHER BE SURPRISED SKIP THIS BIT.
I imagine him talking (he will talk next week) in a sort of British accent – oddly like the character Captain Ironsides from Fallout 4. I had never even heard of Ironsides (or even know anything about Fallout) when Trak – R (The robot guy above) was created, but oddly enough they share a large amount of similarities, such as:
- Being Mechanical in nature
- Wearing a Hat
- Talking in a British accent
- Commanding a crew of other robots
- Having a single, glowing red eye
- Having gained sentience after being abandoned for many years
- Being originally built for military duties
- Having Switchable Hands
- Having more than two legs (Ironsides has three, Trak – R has Four)
- They both have a flight -capable vessel.
If you haven’t figured it out by now, Theo is talking to an actual robot. It is not man in a costume. Trak – R is an ancient sentient automaton, built countless years ago by an unknown, advanced civilization. I did warn you about spoilers.
And yes, fanart of Kat and Akila making out does exist.
