So as I’m writing this I’ve got the updated version of “U Got That” rendering, so that should be up today. EDIT: It’s here. I think I got the Auto – poster working, so it should be posting at the right time now. I also received some fanart of Akila, and the person who drew it might draw some other TNF Characters too! Here it is, I think it turned out really well!(If I’m allowed, I really want to color it in. Speaking of Akila, I thought I might talk about her species for a bit, as there’s no real place in the comic the information would fit. In a nutshell, all Nereids are able to use psychic abilities, such as mind reading, memory reading and even mind control. (Hence how Akila was able to explore Theo’s head in the scene where she laid on top of him.) All Nereids have a queen, (they have a hierarchical society), and the queen sees and feels all things the other Nereids under her control see and feel. Not as in “She can read your mind if she feels like it”, as in “She is constantly experiencing everything you experience”- along with 200 other Nereids. As this is a lot of stimuli, most Nereids (Akila included) probably wouldn’t make good queens. You could call Nereids a Hive Mind of sorts, but as they don’t all share a mind (for example, Akila can’t feel what any other nereids are feeling), I don’t really consider them one.
