Now with Green Text!

Hey guys! This week’s comic is comic 150! (INSERT WHOOPING SFX) Sorry it took me a while to get around to posting the random text under this comic. In other news, I still don’t have coronavirus! Yay! Fingers crossed I don’t get it at all. In other news, that first panel on this page is the first one of the comic to have colored text. (Citation needed.) Also, I feel I’m getting better at drawing Katrina and Theo in their new style, and I think it looks really nice. I know Kat has a rather masculine face, but that’s intentional, because she’s probably the most masculine of the girls in the comic, so I feel it’s rather justified.  Now that I think about it, Theo is one of the less masculine of the guys, at least of the main characters. Funny how that works out. This isn’t the first sort of contrast between two characters I’ve noticed – between Kat and Akila, Kat (in my mind) is one of those people who takes stuff super slowly in relationships, while Akila’s much more open as far as relationships go. (Also Kat is fairly modest compared to Akila, but that’s not really her fault, given Akila’s usual dress.)

I’ve gotten a few questions about “where are the files in The Noordegraaf Files“? My short answer: There aren’t any. Longer answer: It was a working title that I never could change as it was what I called it in my head. If you really want there to be files, the best answer is each chapter could be a file, and each “file” is something that happens to Noordegraaf (Theo). Theo is just along for the ride in the comic – other people cause the events to happen. So it’s less The Noordegraaf Files and more A Collection of Events that Happen to Noordegraaf.

Also, for that hidden video last week – here it is:

See you next week.
