Froot Loops make my stomach acid rainbow

Now, I normally try to avoid swearing in the comic (despite it probably happening less than it would were the comic characters real people), but this pun was just far too good to pass up. And well, if there’s ONE character in the comic that would swear a lot… it’s probably Violet. (Kat’s too polite for that kind of thing.)

Also, I’m sure you’ve noticed Vi’s sudden wardrobe change, and it’s for more of an in-story purpose than just me seeing what looks good on her. Basically, it’s my way of showing visually that Violet’s becoming much more comfortable with her… unusual appearance (and the bad memories associated with it) without having to spell it out for the reader. I personally don’t think the tank top suits her though, as that’s Kat’s default outfit. I’ve been asked about if there’s any in-story signifigance to violet’s white-striped outfit (I genuinely have no idea what it would be called, as it’s not a bodysuit but it’s not a onesie either. The closest real life equivalent I can give is something similar to a wetsuit, but lighter.), or if it was just part of her original character design and it looked good so I kept it. It’s a bit of both – yes, I do personally have it as her iconic outfit – similar to how The Lady in White is called such due to her debut dress being white, despite her also wearing blue robes – but I personally feel that given how similar it is in both style and form to Circe’s outfit, who was the lady who more or less saved her life, I personally feel at some point she got it for Violet, It’s basically a sort of security blanket for Violet, as it’s basically the point that things got better for her. (She generally feels she looks rather good in it.)
