if you couldn't tell, Akila isn't the biggest fan of Theo.

The comic’s second fight scene s next week. Drawing skills, don’t fail me now.

Also, a bit of clarification. Akila’s name is pronounced Ak – IH – la, not Ak – AH – la or Ak – EE – La. I’ve heard some incorrect pronunciations of both her name and Theo’s last name, Noordegraaf. It’s pronounced like it looks. Long O, Long A. (For a more in depth pronunciation guide, it’s Nor (As in Not / or, like the gate used in IF / AND programming) and then De Graaf, like the generator that makes your hair stand up like Theo’s on the last page’s last panel.)

More clarification:  I was re – watching the first Harry Potter movie last night, and there was an ad for a show about mermaids. Not bad in itself, (as they were my preferred version of mermaids – the old, traditional representation one where they are vicious predators, not unlike Akila’s species,) but the show was called SIREN.  Allow me to clear something up. Sirens are BIRD people. Like this: (see below).* The same word was used in Latin for both sirens and mermaids, so when the word “siren” found it’s way into the English lexicon, it means “mermaid.” The specific kind of mermaid most like a siren, (e.g. uses beautiful singing voice to lure people to their deaths) is called a Lorelei.  This has been the Kuma News Network, teaching you things you didn’t know and didn’t need to know.

YES I HAVE A DRAWING OF A SIREN. I HAVE A DRAWING OF AN ALRAUNE, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!
