Don't ask me where Kat gets all these fancy tank tops.

So hey guys, and welcome back to whatever sort of wild ride this story is! All sarcasm aside, I know the story isn’t the world’s most exciting barrel of fun at the moment, and I regret to say there’s not of stuff I can really do about it for now. I will say the upcoming section with Katrina explaining the whole magic system to Theo is the last bit of explanation before the main antagonist shows up, so that’s a little bit of light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. I know I post one of these a week, but I’m in no way requiring you to come on the website every wednesday/thursday and read it. To be honest, I recommend actually coming on say, once a month and reading four comics in a row, so that way it doesn’t seem like a total slog waiting each week and then nothing really happens. I’ve decided to make Kat look a bit more muscular lately, as stated last week, but there’s one thing I always had trouble with, which is getting the shape of Kat’s head right. In this page I feel I made it a bit too wide – I’ve got ideal images of the characters that I use as guides, and I felt this one had a bit too wide of head, too. I haven’t drawn her in a long while though, so I may be out of practice.

Also I’ve found another slightly spooky game to review! (I don’t know why I tend to review so may horror-y games, I’ve honestly never been a huge fan of scary stuff.) This might be a bit shorter review though.

It’s called “World of Horror”, and while the name may come across as some cheesy zombie game, it isn’t. IN a nutshell, you’re a young girl that has a penchant for solving mysteries, which is good, cause the town you live in has lots of weird, otherworldly events going on for you to I like that monster design. Reminds me of one of my ideas....solve. Oh, and the world’s going to end if you don’t solve them. For some reason. This isn’t helped that most events you face tend to end with you facing off against something that will probably be easily able to tear your face off – so you have to choose your actions and moves carefully, so you balance staying alive but not spending so much time trying to stay alive the world ends anyway. It’s not easy. I was going to play it, but I missed the free download deadline by one day, so I’ve had to settle with youtube playthroughs instead. It’s pretty cool though.
Get it here. Also – fun fact: The drawing of a house Violet was doing on the last page is taken from one of the missions. I still hide stuff in the comic, you know.

See you next week.
