Wait until shark week. I'll have something special.

(It’s not actually shark week.)

Hey guys! Hope you all are doing well with social distancing and all. My life hasn’t changed a ton, if I’m being honest. I think this week’s comic turned out well, especially that first panel with Theo and the shark. (I googled “jaws poster” once and now I’m getting ads for jaws merch.) I’ve been practicing drawing Katrina from different angles, as her strange hair makes her kinda weird to draw at times. I’m getting better at it though, along with side drawing of Theo in the fourth panel. I’ve had a few ideas floating around in my mind for little funny side comics/videos, but I haven’t been able to fully make any of them – with the exception of another one of those spooky videos, which, as usual, I’ve hidden somewhere on this page. (It’s hidden differently than last time, sorry.) Also about Theo and Andromeda – as stated, Theo technically is more powerful than her, but they’re both pretty weak in the grand scheme of things. Andromeda, as I’ve said before, would be able to fight off Theo easily – she could probably take on Ten Theos at once and still win. She’s been trained from a young age on how to use it. (Not from her parents – she has a lot of old books on how to use magic and stuff. Not that she never knew her parents though – but all I’m going to say about that is it’s a rather… tragic tale. No spoilers. I’ll tell sometime in part 2.) Speaking of which, if you were wondering, the reason Andromeda isn’t in the comic much is she really likes to keep to herself. She tries to avoid becoming overly attached to people (for reasons I can’t say) and there’s a chance she might have something like bipolar disorder – mood swings and all – but as I don’t know tons about it I don’t want to say she has it and get it wrong.

Also, while digging around in my old computer files, I found an unfinished level map for DOOM II (the one from 1996) buried in my downloads folder. I had to do a bunch of cleanup (quite a few walls didn’t have textures and some of the doors didn’t work, along with a few places there were invisible walls,) and had to finish an entire branch of the level, but it’s finished. I also redid a few of the areas, and you can see how I got better at the editor as I made the level. (Rule of thumb: The more simple the area is, the older.) Here are a few screenshots:

Spider-Brain! Now with a ribcage!I love doing art on the floors. Before somebody tells me that this has satanic imagery: THAT IS THE POINT. THEY ARE DEMONS.

You do need a copy of DOOM II (1996) to play it (along with a source port like GZDoom), but if you don’t that’s OK, cause I’m going to stitch together a video of me playing it and post it on my youtube channel at some point.

I’m going to release a version of it for the Original Doom 1 (1994) at some point, but that involves me replacing all the monsters. (Doom II has a bunch of monsters that aren’t in the original, so if you played it there would be a lot of missing stuff.) If you want the file that the levil is in, just click here for a link.

But yeah that’s all I’ve got for this week. See you guys next week I guess!

Don't ask questions about theo's right arm. it's weird.
