Hey guys! How are you? I’m doing good, and I really like how this page turned out. If you noticed how Theo looks different in the second panel, that’s because I’ve more or less finalized his new design. I was wary to adjust it too much, given how he’s the protagonist, but having all the other characters look more realistic and him look cartoony looked odd. This was just a test, but I like the way it looks so he’ll probably steadily adjust to that. I still need practice drawing him though, as his head shape is really hard to get right. Same thing with Akila and Violet – their faces and heads are really hard to get to look right, as small adjustments can screw the whole look up. Due to this, I have a few photos I consider “optimal”, and what I try to replicate. As I draw this all by hand, some variation in the people is inevitable, but I try to minimize it.
